Synopsis

After seven years and three kids, Brion and Corey are simply existing. Her gut is telling her that something with her relationship is off, but delusion is better than reality. Until the proof is right there in her face, and she can't run from it anymore. After years of allowing her time to be wasted and her face to be played in, Brion has to pick up the pieces and figure out how to live life completely opposite than how she envisioned it. Hymn Monroe isn't running from love, but he isn't chasing it either. His main focus is giving the game all he has until he retires from the NFL in the next few years. When his teammate Isaac attempts to play matchmaker, there's more than one reason why Hymn is skeptical. The red flags are there, but something is telling him to ignore them. The last thing Brion needs is a man to entertain, but when the opportunity arises for her to get her lick back, the temptation is too intense to resist.
