Synopsis

The very thought of marriage to Lord Bantham made Vita Ashford shudder. Why the man was old enough to be her father! She'd rather die than marry him. Cleverly, Vita planned her escape. Her destination: the Syrian desert, where her cousin--the notorious Jane Digby -- lived with, a Bedouin Sheikh. Surely Jane would sympathize with her refusal to marry, and would teach her the importance of love. Vita would learn about love in the desert--but not from her Cousin Jane.
