Synopsis
This is the tale of Henry Pelham. He falls in love with his best friend’s sister, and then learns that his friend is accused of murder. He must find the real killer in order to marry his love. The book really illustrates the manners, habits and lifestyles of the rich and famous in the first half of the 19th century.
