Elice Glasser is a widow with three children to raise. Cabot Murray is an ex-cop who returns home to Freeland, Maryland, to deal with the pain of his own tragic loss: the death of his wife and daughter in a horriable automobile accident. Out of their sorrow a friendship developes, and the possibility of love. However, vengeful enemies and jealous rivals determined to destroy the bloom of happiness Elice and Cabot have found in each other's arms. Can Elice and Cabot put the past behind them? Will the holes poked into their pocketful of love, never to be mended, and their relationship forever?
