Synopsis

In this culmination of the Pride and Other Sins series, Lady Catherine de Bourgh reads the wedding announcement for her nephew and shrieks in wrath. Fitzwilliam Darcy was meant to marry her daughter , not a nobody from nowhere! Her plan to do something about it - exactly what, she is not certain - is delayed when the health of her daughter Anne takes a turn for the worse, but Lady Catherine will not wait long before she races to London to consult with Darcy, check with the spying servants she has installed in his Town home, and do whatever it takes to save the family. In the meantime, Elizabeth and Fitzwilliam Darcy take off on a carefully planned and blissful bridal tour, not knowing about the item that was erroneously packed with their belongings, and not knowing that Lady Catherine will soon follow them. Wrath cannot win over love, surely. But will it make the bridal tour extra bumpy? Pride and Wrath includes two epilogues and is the longest novella of the series, at around 45K words. It includes mature content. Warning: At the beginning of Epilogue 1, there is mention of a very early miscarriage in the recent past.
