Synopsis

I have this feeling I am forgetting something... Memories are fluid, like a river, and ever changing with the currents. Amara's power over memories is not a gift, but a curse that has chained her in servitude to Lord Balthazar. He confined her in his palace to use her power and body as he pleases. Life imprisoned in those dark corridors is suffocating, until a sorcerer with a wicked grin appears at her door. Uri, second in command to Lord Balthazar, is just as trapped as Amara. Unable to resist the call of her aura, Uri pleads for one kiss from the memory witch - on the condition that she suppress his memories of her and his betrayal to Lord Balthazar. The mind may forget, but the heart does not. One kiss is never enough and with each touch they risk discovery. Uri and Amara quickly learn that there is one curse far worse than the one they bear now - love. *This book depicts assault and violence. **Requiem for a Memory, a Nocturne of Oblivion novella, is best enjoyed after reading The Searcher's Lament, Book I of the Nocturne of Oblivion series
