Synopsis

For fans of Robyn Carr and Jill Shalvis, Rescue You is a moving story about sisters, war veterans and rescued puppies. Featuring strong women and wounded heroes, it's the tale of two sisters figuring out who they are and what they really want, while rehabilitating mistreated dogs. Constance Morrigan and her sister, Sunny, rescue dogs from owners who don't treat them well and rehabilitate them to help war veterans. The neighbors, however, think pitbulls are a dangerous breed and are determined to ruin The Pittie Place regardless of how many people and animals are helped. Constance is struggling to find herself again after her whole life and all her plans were upended, so when she stumbles into a gym she's never noticed before, she figures she has nothing to lose. Rhett runs a CrossFit gym hoping to exercise the PTSD out of his system, and it may be the only place his fellow military vet buddies feel they fit in. Constance and Sunny save the dogs that can save Rhett and his colleagues--if they can do it before a vindictive neighbor gets them shut down. And Rhett's gym can save Constance's sense of self if he can do it before she shuts him down.
