Synopsis

After her husband's untimely death, Kate Craig is determined never again to put her happiness in the hands of any man. Going against the current of social stigma and the competition of a ruthless businessman, she sails her riverboat Red Dawn up the Missouri to trade for furs. In addition to the swirling river and savage commercial rivalries, Kate also faces the attraction of two men-passengers on the Red Dawn who are as different as night and day-and who tempt her.
