In this engrossing, humorous, but deceptively important novel, the psychiatrist-author takes on the subject of romance in its many falling in love, the beauty of the world, memory, and the creative impulse for good and evil. The main character, a successful and bored romance writer, is suddenly thrust into an emotional tailspin which leads to adventures worthy of Don Quixote and a dramatic and satisfying conclusion.
