Daisy Keane is left in charge of Sir Robert Hardwick's sealed last will and testament - and a final letter from the deceased, in which he asserts that somebody wanted to kill him. Following his mysterious instructions, she invites the suspects to join her on Blue Boat, a private yacht. As the passengers embark, Daisy suspects the voyage will not be plain sailing, her employer knew some very strange people. They include the Spanish girl he loved in his youth, the French wife he left, and his scorned Italian mistress. To Daisy, the most enigmatic - despite their attraction to each other - is private investigator Harry Montana. It becomes apparent that Sir Robert was right - his murderer may well be on the ship. Now the journey suddenly seems more dangerous than anyone could have predicted.
