The stranger beside you might just hold the key to your destiny... When a beautiful woman he's never seen before approaches uptight businessman, Frank Flowers, professing her undying love, he's immediately compelled to learn more about her. He follows her onto the Turtle Island ferry, where she admits the grand gesture was a Say "I love you" to a stranger . When Frank learns why Rose is visiting the island—to honor her friend's bucket list—he takes a detour from his busy day to help her check some items off the list. The adventure—which has the pair blowing bubbles, picnicking on the beach, and riding a tandem bicycle—has Frank feeling like a kid again. No one has ever made him feel as at home, at ease, and excited about life as this mystery girl. He's prepared to sideline his entire summer, if need be, to spend every day with Rose, checking the bucket list items off one by one. But, when they lose track of each other before exchanging last names or phone numbers, Frank fears his best chance at true love has just slipped through his fingers. Remembering that Rose must go home—wherever that is—in one week, Frank sets out on a mission to track down the most beautiful, interesting woman he's ever encountered, promising himself he'll drop to one knee and propose if he finds her. His entire family, along with most of Turtle Island pitch in to help Frank find his soulmate before she's gone forever! As the search unfolds, Frank continues to find himself one step behind Rose, but is regaled with enchanting stories of islanders who encountered her. Through the stories, Frank becomes more and more smitten by this stranger, who seems to sprinkle a little magic wherever she goes. As the clock ticks on, Frank is losing hope that he'll find Rose before it's too late. However, what keeps him going are the continual signs everywhere that the universe is aligning and carving a path for the two of them to meet up again—if only he can find her before she leaves Turtle Island forever!
