Synopsis
When a biker spends two years denying what he wants most—her, Aubrielle. It started the day he saw the young woman who auditioned to be a stripper at his MC’s strip club. She was sweet, innocent, beautiful, not someone who should be dancing in a place like that. He offered her the beginnings of a friendship, only to pull away weeks later without explanation. And the next thing he knew, almost two years had passed. Aubrielle had her reasons for working at Punishers’ Eden. She hadn’t shared them with anyone, even though she was considered a friend of the club. If only Shadowrider, Shadow to his brothers, would go back to the way he was when they first met. But Aubrielle was past dreaming about that, about him. She has a mission—to graduate with her degree and escape from her family and Bristol forever. She has mere months to go. However, an incident onstage one night leads the Punishers to assign her a personal bodyguard, and Shadow becomes that bodyguard. He’s forced to face why he turned away from her. He realizes he lost two years, and if he can’t make it up to her, Shadow will lose her for good. Aubrielle is making plans to disappear. This uneasy situation leads to confessions on both sides, the revelation of secrets amid a secret admirer, and horrible family business. As Shadow and Aubrielle, his Dazzler, grow closer and look to a future together, they must be able to neutralize the danger to her, which comes from more than strangers. What will Shadow do to protect Aubrielle from her obsessed stalker and her criminal family? The answer is—everything. This Punisher will stop at nothing to make sure his dazzler is free to be his forever in a dance as old as time—true love.
