Synopsis

Ray Martin was the cop who brought Sage and Ben through their adventure in one piece...but a lot has changed for Ray since then. A twist of fate drops Raine Sheridan, the runaway wife of a notorious mobster, right into the shadows of a past he must face down in order to earn vindication. Raine has become an expert at keeping secrets, and trusting the people in her new, uncomplicated life doesn't come easily. But the new man with the dark eyes and amazing smile draws her in just the same. For each of them, falling in love with "The Enemy" is a risk they can't afford to take...and a temptation neither can resist.
