The situation was getting out of hand. Clearly, Roz had to do something about her problem with her brother-in-law, Stephen. She wasn't sure that accepting Charles Maine's offer would help. Charles suggested that the cure for one man was to become involved with another--namely, himself. But Roz knew from experience that she couldn't handle Charles. He was unpredictable, and she didn't trust him. Or was it that she didn't trust herself?
