It was an explosive situtation. Penny was trapped in an isolated, snowbound cottage with Mike Wolfe, an angry stranger itching to get his hands on her brother. In fact, she had no idea where Pete was, but it was evident he'd been up to something and Mike was intending to sort him out. All Penny could do now was to practise self-defence and pretend to this ruggestly attractive man that she was Pete's wife - things were volatile enought, without encouraging the intense physical attraction between them.
