Synopsis

Domus is the CLEAN FANTASY and SWEET action-packed romance of Lichen and Isabella. It’s hard to find a grown-up fantasy that isn’t splattered with gratuitous sex and violence and also delivers a message of faith and eternal love. Since his eighth birthday, Lichen Ipse had been haunted by dreams and half-memories of combustible disappearing letters, a faceless crystal clock screaming with sound and color, and an enigmatic unknown grandfather who had elicited poignancy from his tender young heart. As an adult to believe these outlandish things had happened was in battle with his sharp intellect and no-nonsense approach to life. Lichen was conflicted. Lichen was a golden boy who had always been obsessed with flying. His lightning instincts helped him pilot his Air Force F-22 Raptor with ease but did not prohibit the accident that destroyed his wings and forced the castigation of his soul. He had been wounded and grounded, his once best friend hated him, and his girl had left him. Even when his business acuity amassed wealth without conscious effort it did not console him. Today, on Lichen’s twenty-fifth birthday things would change. The sudden and stark reality of Domus, an ancient Fey kingdom, would detonate from the numberless clock bringing with it a most curious carriage, six raucous stallions, and a frigid unholy driver, all with the eerie presence of the conjured. Today Lichen would discover the truth about his family, and himself. Lichen’s love-hate relationship with the ancient land of Domus was just beginning. Today Lichen would cross from the known into the unknown, be whisked into an otherworldly domain with a different set of rules where you didn’t need a jet to fly and magic was more than an orphan boy on the movie screen. He was about to experience a realm of love, pure and eternal; a reign of terror, wicked and foul; and a discovery of self, profound and far-reaching. DOMUS explores the depth of human nature as Lichen wrestles with his natural self. Shal
