Her Gift... Josh McBride arrives at Halden's local vet practice prepared to temporarily step in for a doctor who's about to have a baby. But he's not prepared for a midwife with a head of rich copper hair whose special way with needy strays has an immediate and possibly permanent effect on one in particular -- his eight-year-old son.
