Espionage, double agents, passion, and deception are at the heart of this historical romance by Cheryl Sawyer, set against the backdrop of the Peninsular War (1808-14) between England and Bonaparte's France. It pits two patriots against each other, the young Frenchwoman Delphine Dagleish and the stalwart Englishman Sir Gideon Landor.
