Jennifer O'Grady is an on-the-edge FBI profiler who has come home to see her former fiancee. When she arrives he has been murdered and framed for a series of murders. Sean Gaudette is a homicide detective just waiting for retirement. When his partner is murdered, he must solve one more case. In his way is a redheaded bundle of trouble in the form of an FBI profiler. The two clash, but soon discover they have more in common then they think. Will they lose their hearts before the case is solved?
