Synopsis

Anna, unhappy after breaking off her engagement to the charming Bruce Grayson, leaves the city to teach in a Wiltshire village. However, she faces new problems and tensions when she becomes involved with the family at Mill House: Guy Deering, an embittered widow, his bored sister and his difficult son, Peter.
