Synopsis

Proud golden-haired Sheena McCraggan had come to France as companion to the young Mary Queen of Scots, who was taking refuge in the court of Henri II. Sheena had heard much about Henri's sumptuous court-about the beautiful flirtatious women and the pleasure-seeking noblemen. She wanted nothing to do with them. She was there only to teach, and protect, the child Queen Mary. But, too soon, Sheena found herself in the masterful arms of a handsome duke-a man she might have found attractive if not for his towering arrogance.
