LOVE VERSUS LOYALTY Practical attorney James Marshall didn't believe in love at first sight--until he saw artist Adriana Cummings. When he met her, everything he'd ever heard about love made sudden, wonderful sense. James thought the differences between his logical ways and her romantic impulses would make the finishing touches to a perfect whirlwind courtship. Adriana was swept away by James's passion. She couldn't imagine being without him, but when she learned he was in town to prosecute her father, she knew she couldn't choose her own happiness over loyalty to her family.
