Synopsis

Things start to go downhill when his mother dies and Richard discovers that she had already spent all of her money! She did, however, bequeath a painting to Harriet of a beautiful voilet-eyed woman in a Scottish castle. But when Harriet goes to Scotland to research the background to the portrait, she meets Murdo, a handsome young Scot - and the story becomes increasingly involved...
