Synopsis

Set on the wild hills and moors of Yorkshire, *The Master of Aysgarth* is a story of passionate loves and feudal hatreds. The story of Alice Chell, who travels north to seek her fortune, is intertwined with the dark destinies and family secrets of the ancient, crumbling house of Aysgarth, and the lost jewelled cross that belonged to the ruined abbey there.
