Synopsis

My mother left me one thing before she passed, a beautiful flower shop. I have seven days before the bank takes it, and it’s the only thing I have left after my divorce. A developer has been trying to buy the building to tear it down and put up a hotel, but I’ve been refusing to sell. Last night, just before closing, I heard commotion outside and a man rushed in and locked the door behind me. He turned off the lights and pulled me behind the counter before I could say a word. I heard tires screeching outside and peeked through the window to see three news vans surrounding my shop.
