Synopsis

Paige Norton's friendship with Joel Benedict was progressing very satisfactorily. In fact, it had reached the stage of his "taking her home to meet the family". Home was Koombala, the vast Benedict cattle empire in the middle of the Australian Outback. The family was Joel's stepbrother Ty Benedict, the Boss of Koombala. Paige hadn't much liked the sound of Ty when Joel had first told her about him -- and when she actually met Ty she liked the reality even less.
