Synopsis

Cristina's legacy from her grandmother was as unexpected as it was exciting — a chateau in the heart of the French countryside. But she couldn't decide right away what she was going to do with it, so she and her almost-fiancé Vernon went off to inspect the property. There Cristina met Aiastair Buchanan — and fell in love with him. But Alastair was as bound to the beautiful Sylvana as Cristina was to Vernon — more so, for Sylvana, his brother's widow, was not the type to cope with life's problems alone and relied on him with almost childlike intensity. How could Cristina let Alastair hurt her by deserting her now ? Altogether, the legacy seemed to be bringing her more problems than happiness. Was there any way out ?
