Synopsis
Civilian life hasn’t been easy for Lucas Whitlock. After many wounds and a broken heart. Lucas heads to Juniper Springs to visit his little sister. Upon arrival, he runs into someone unexpected: Kiera, the girl he once stood up. Kiera Vaughn is driven by many hopes and dreams. After her business in New York is forced to close its doors. Kiera finds employment in her hometown’s bakery. There, her cheerful personality and love of people draws those around her in. But when a homeless woman Kiera has been helping turns up dead. Kiera is determined to find out the truth behind the woman’s death. Wanting to keep Kiera safe, Lucas decides to keep a close eye on her. But soon the mystery takes a dangerous turn. And the two are trapped together by a massive storm. Sparks fly, and Lucas finds that Kiera could be the one to thaw the ice around his heart. With danger lurking at every corner and the stakes rising. Lucas will have to do the unthinkable to bring forth justice and save the ones he loves. Things are not as they seem, and the truth of it all will be devastating.
