Synopsis

Discovering an abandoned child along the highway, Warren Jacobs pulls out all stops to keep him out of the foster system and reunite him with family. Maddy Harris, a physician in San Antonio, Texas, has spent years struggling without any family support to create a life for herself. She has finally achieved her status as a surgeon, but her lifestyle consists of very little social interactions. Her world is turned upside down when she is notified that her younger brother, Gabe, is in need of help. Maddy travels to a small, South Dakota town to rescue Gabe, only to find that perhaps Warren Jacobs needed to rescue her, as well.
