Synopsis

Bethany Jackson and Stewart Jefferson, both from prominent and wealthy Christian families, grew up together and fell in love. However, two weeks before their wedding, Bethany discovers Stewart embracing and kissing the beautiful, but malicious, Rica Adams. Devastated and unyielding, Bethany cancels the wedding and denies her love for Stewart. Stricken by the harsh reality, Stewart escapes to the city where he encounters the temptations of flirtatious women and high society. Alone and heartbroken, Bethany accepts an assignment to serve in an orphanage in a desolate Western town, where she faces the hardships of a hostile environment and finds herself drawn to the handsome Pastor David Goodry. How long can the delicate and privileged Bethany Jackson survive the challenges of living among the downtrodden? Will the spiteful schemes of Rica Adams be uncovered? With Bethany and Stewart separated by hundreds of miles, how can the love between them ever be rekindled?
