Synopsis

Freya Harridan has survived the forests of Avorell and the battle at Watoria. Now, she, her husband, and the rest of her brethren have taken refuge in Iston, home of the Valkyrie. With Willem Ristner seated on the Lindorothian throne and two armies at his fingertips, it would seem all might be lost. However, when newfound allies emerge from the shadows ready and willing to offer aid, the king and queen of Lindoroth begin to feel hopeful for the first time since enemies took their thrones.
