Synopsis

Aunt Sophie told Lotte and her sister Jane that they wouldn't lose anything by giving up their home to live with her. However, when she died they discovered she had left her house to her adopted son who lived in Phoenix, Arizona. Andrew, who came in his father's place, said the money would be a godsend as his father was ill. But Lotte and Jane have no home. When Jane decides to get married, Andrew invites Lotte to Phoenix. There, she rejects his offer of marriage, feeling he is just sorry for her...
