Synopsis

“He made me feel like having hope wasn’t such a bad thing but rather a brave thing." For as long as Lacey can remember, her world has felt unsteady beneath her feet. Between the bullying at school and her unloving father at home, she has forgotten what true safety feels like. Then she meets kind and protective Alex, and parts of her world seem slightly brighter. As Lacey and Alex grow closer, her scepticism about friendship lingers, making it harder for her to trust than she anticipated. Waiting for the Sun is a poignant exploration of friendship, resilience, and the transformative power of human connection, proving that even in the darkest corners of life, genuine relationships can guide the way toward hope and healing.
