After a nasty breakup with her umpteenth boyfriend, Rebekah goes back to her hometown to visit and reconnect with her family. Unexpectedly, she runs into her long-lost teenage boyfriend, Matt. He was her first and only true love, but he is also the one who hurt her the most. Rebekah has lived many years under the assumption that she’d never know why Matt ghosted her so suddenly all those years ago. But after their surprise meeting, Rebekah wonders if she might finally have an opportunity to unlock that mystery. Even if doing so might break her heart all over again. For Matt, reconnecting with Rebekah is a dangerous proposition. He’s held a secret for a long time. A secret he planned to never reveal to anyone— especially Rebekah. It is imperative for Matt that Rebekah never learns why he broke up with her.
