The Chumash tribe lived in harmony with the land, until the Spanish drove them from their homes and made them into slaves. A Spanish colonel moves his wife and daughter, Lucita, to a Catholic misson in Alta California. Black Wolf, once a slave, knows that the new garrison has come to hunt him down.
