Megan Kelly
A warm voice in contemporary romance set in the West and middle America — heartfelt, family-centered, and full of wonderfully quirky characters.
Megan Kelly never planned to write romance — she fell into it at fifteen, when a forgotten Harlequin left on a Kansas City bus seat became her companion for the long ride home. That one book sparked a lifelong love affair with the genre. She devoured them all — historical, contemporary, category, single title — and eventually wanted to give readers the same gift she'd been handed: laughter, tears, and passion conveyed with nothing but words on a page.
A member of Romance Writers of America and its St. Louis chapter, MORWA, Megan spent years soaking up craft and the business of publishing before she got THE CALL — by her own count, one of the top five days of her life. Today she writes contemporary romance set in the West and middle America, every story built around matters of the heart, family dilemmas, and quirky characters. Her Love in Little Tree series unfolds in Montana ranch country, and she has a real gift for holiday romance — love stories tied to Halloween, Valentine's Day, and Christmas, including the Christmas in Stilton books.
She lives in the Midwest with a very supportive husband and two kids who don't remember a time when Mom didn't write — where the weather, she swears, has an imagination and a sense of humor all its own.
